We hear so much about learning our partner’s love language so we can make them feel loved, cared for, and understood. But it may be even more important to know our own.
What actually helps you feel loved by you? Not in a vague “self-love” kind of way, but in a real, lived way. Maybe your self-love language is rest. Maybe it’s keeping small promises to yourself. Maybe it’s speaking to yourself more gently, giving yourself time alone, moving your body, or letting yourself enjoy something without turning it into something to earn.
